SUBJECT: 279th CWA Local 1081 Email Trivia Contest
Below, please find the following five (5) questions for the 279th CWA Local 1081 Email Trivia Contest regarding the memo of August 27, 2010 our Union sent our members entitled “Issues Involving Provisional FSW’s”.
The first member of our Union to correctly answer all of the questions, via an E-mail message sent to cwa1081@aol.com, wins $50.00. You must provide your full name, title and the office to which you are assigned. The winner of this week’s contest is not eligible for ninety (90) days enter the contest again.
- If a provisional has earned time thru August and if he/she used more time than earned he/she may owe the County what?
- There are two potential letters they may receive: One that will be given effective September 17, 2010 that says what, or if they are let go before the projected date, and one that says what? Provisional employees are “at will” employees and may be terminated at any time, without what?
- If a provisional FSW rejects a Clerk position offered them it may well adversely affect them were they to apply for what? Ms. Davis suggests they go to the New Jersey Department of Labor web site for what?
- While the Division of Welfare does not handle the contesting of UIB submissions, the affected former employees must answer how when applying?
- Those soon to be former FSW’s who were offered and accepted Clerk positions at lesser pay will be able to maintain their what, while those who exceeded the use of earned time will have to repay whom?
