According to an article within the Star Ledger, “The primary election on Tuesday in Essex County features a vast field of candidates vying for the Democratic nomination to the freeholder board”. Name the Republican candidates running against each other in that party’s primary for Essex County Freeholder.
Answer: All of the Republican candidates are running unopposed in the primary.
Name the Democratic incumbents in two of the Freeholder district seats that are being challenged, as well as their respective challengers.
Answer: In the 5th District, Freeholder Ralph Caputo is facing former Montclair Mayor Bob Russo. In the second district, Freeholder D. Bilal Beasley is facing Patrick Council, a former Newark Board of Education member.
Name each member of the slate of challengers in the Democratic primary for Freeholder at-large seats.
