Congratulations, you are last week's CWA Local 1081 Trivia Contest winner. Please contact CWA Local 1081 Secretary Treasurer Vera Winns at (973) 623-1081, or preferably by E-mail at vwinns@oel.state.nj.us, to collect your $50.00 prize. You were the first to correctly answer all of the following questions:

Recently, CWA Local 1081 filed a Step III Class Action Contractual Grievance to protest “Inadequate Security at 50 So. Clinton Street”. Cite the date of the grievance and recap the first two points of our complaint.
Answer: April 4, 2008. 1) It has been reported to CWA Local 1081 that on March 25, 2008 the personal vehicle of a Family Service Supervisor assigned to the abovementioned site was stolen from the building’s parking lot. 2) Apparently, one or more of the security cameras trained upon the parking lot have not been operative for some time.

Similarly, CWA Local 1081 recently filed a Step III Class Action Contractual Grievance to protest “Inadequate Security” within the privately-owned 18 Rector Street facility. Cite the date of our grievance and recap the first two points of our complaint.
Answer: 1) On the morning of Tuesday, March 18, 2008, a male and two female clients began to initially verbally bicker and then engage in a physical fray with each other within the client waiting room on the first floor of the Military Park office. 2) Despite repeated attempts by a Clerk assigned to the reception desk to summons security personnel, including those assigned by their employer to the security equipment located within the 18 Rector Street entrance of the building only several yards from the fracas, no security personnel responded to the scene.
