Article I. Purpose
Article X. Health Insurance Coverage
Article XXV. Non-Discrimination
Dear Mr. Nigro:
CWA Local 1081 submits this Step II Class Action Contractual Grievance to protest the fact the County of Essex continues not to implement the Flexible Spending-Section 125 Program, as referenced by Essex County Director of the Office of Human Resources Alan Abramowitz’s attached memorandum of November 3, 2008 addressed to “All Division of Welfare Employees” and by Essex County Division of Welfare Deputy Director/Department of Citizen Services Chief of Personnel Yvonne Davis’ attached memorandum of November 13, 2006 addressed to “All Titles Covered by CWA Local 1081 and the Public Employees Supervisors’ Union (PESU)”.
The resolution CWA Local 1081 respectfully demands to this grievance is for the County of Essex to forthwith allow all members of our Union who so desire to “choose to participate in the Essex County Section 125 plan”.
We seek a hearing, in this regard.
Sincerely,
David H. Weiner, President
CWA Local 1081
