Janus Solutions

Dear Mr. Venezia:

CWA Local 1081 respectfully submits this Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request our Union is provided the following documents by the County of Essex regarding the requirements contained within contract between the County of Essex and Janus Solutions as approved by the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders on September 17, 2014:

  1. Copies of all “Required monthly progress reports” that were to be submitted to the Director of the Division of Welfare documenting the forward evolution of the project.”
  2. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to “continue to utilize the Strategic Leadership cycle to continue support for the implementation of various improvements beginning with the evaluation process of determining what remains to be completed and how success will be measured.
  3. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to “build upon the efforts that have already begun to measure the efficiency of key operations such as waiting time, time to complete Call Center requests; and the effectiveness of services provides such as SNAP CAP and statistical information provided by the Division of Family Development related to accuracy of case determinations.
  4. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to “facilitate and reconvene the Modernization Steering Committee, design and assist in the implementation of a new Executive Leadership process, and serve as staff for the Change Management Committee and related subcommittees.
  5. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to provide “assistance in the design and implementation of a, community outreach process to educate the community and assistance with the upgrade design of the SharePoint public facing website.
  6. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to provide “full assessment of current training content and process for new and existing staff; preparation of training modules pertaining to Case Banking and other modernization efforts; assistance in the assessment, restructuring, and revision of the current employee performance appraisal' system; and provide support to the Division's Training Unit.
  7. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to “assist in the design for the reorganization with minimal impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of delivery of services to customers; and support with the development of new policies and procedures.
  8. Copies of all documents delineating how Janus Solutions has succeeded to “update the Director of the Division of Welfare and the Director of the Department of Citizen Services regarding any impediments or potential impediments to the implementation of the work plan and Case Banking; offer solutions and options for overcoming problems; and prepare monthly progress reports regarding implementation.” Our Union markedly harbors a hankering to be provided copies of all of Janus Solutions’ “monthly progress reports regarding implementation.
Please be advised that were the County to fail to provide the requested documents within the legally prescribed time frame, our Union shall be compelled to file a complaint with the New Jersey Government Records Council.
