Superstorm Sandy Contracts
Dear Mr. Fusco:
As president of CWA Local 1081, I respectfully submit this Open Public Records Act (OPRA) regarding the County of Essex as I am requesting to be provided the following documents related to Superstorm Sandy:
1. All contracts with outside vendors entered into from October 15, 2012 to present for the following services or expenditures incurred as a result of Superstorm Sandy:
a. Debris removal, refuse hauling, and recycling;
b. Grant writing;
c. Assistance with procuring resources from other levels of government and/or private foundations;
d. Emergency power generation, fuel provision, and gasoline;
e. Road, sewer, water, and any other infrastructure repair;
f. Tree trimming, pruning, and landscaping;
g. Any other contracts for other services or expenditures incurred as a result of Superstorm Sandy.
2. All resolutions approving the contracts referenced in (1);
3. All contracts approved prior to October 15, 2012 for the disaster relief or recovery categories listed in (1) under which expenditures were incurred as a result of Superstorm Sandy.
4. All resolutions approving the contracts referenced in (3);
5. All bid documents for the contracts referenced in (1) and (3) from companies that did not receive a contract award.
