Dear Mr. DeMarino:
CWA Local 1081 submits this Step I Class Action Contractual Grievance on behalf of our members assigned to the Food Stamp office to protest the presence of severe mold permeating the ceiling of the clients' waiting area within the basement of the County-owned 50 South Clinton Street, East Orange building.
Attached, please note photographs which were recently taken of the mold-laden ceiling tiles.
The resolution to this grievance CWA Local 1081 respectfully demands consists of the County immediately inspecting the office for mold and ensuring all is removed. This would include removing the tainted tiles as well as inspecting and cleaning the upper ceiling areas of all mold, as well.
