Re: Step I Class Action Contractual Grievance
HP 90 Toner Paucity
Article I. Purpose
Article VII. Discipline
Article XXV. Non-Discrimination
Article XLIX. Safety of Staff
Dear Mr. Crawley:
CWA Local 1081 submits this Step I Class Action Contractual Grievance on behalf of our applicable members assigned to the Military Park Citizen Services Center to protest the paucity of replacement HP 90A toner cartridges requisite to maintain the functioning of the new printers purchased latterly by the County of Essex.
The lack of such cited replacement supplies has led to workers scrambling for cubicles where there exist a functional printer. Many of our Union's members are unable to process cases during their quiet days, thus leading to reduced production and delays in case disposition.
The resolution CWA Local 1081demands to this grievance consists of the County immediately ensuring an adequate supply of printer toner cartridges is provided your office.
We seek a hearing in this regard.
Sincerely,
David H. Weiner, President
CWA Local 1081
