Pesticide Spraying During Work Hours
Dear Mr. Nigro:
CWA Local 1081 thanks you for your having upheld our attached Step II Class Action Contractual Grievance of July 22, 2009 by issuing your attached response of July 31, 2009 regarding our Union having protested the spraying of pesticide within the Military Park office during work hours on July 21, 2009.
Our Union thanks you, as well, for providing the attached Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) describing the chemical(s) contained within the pesticide utilized by the landlord’s operatives. As you please note, Number 11 of the MSDS cites the considerable dangers of the toxicological effects of the pesticide upon humans which is what precipitated our Union having submitted the grievance.
