- The location of the grievance is the Essex County Division of Welfare.
- The Local number is 1081.
- The employer is the Essex County Division of Welfare, County of Essex.
- The job titles affected are all titles without CWA Local 1081’s bargaining units.
- The members’ respective agency seniority is immaterial to the matter.
- The facts are well contained within the attached Step I through Step III grievances and their respective denial responses.
- The relevant contractual provisions are referenced within the attached grievances.
- The Local’s recommendation is that the National CWA approve this request and file for arbitration in order to compel the County of Essex to abide by the tenets of the contract in the cited regard. It is our Local’s belief that we are positively positioned to prevail in arbitration upon our adversely affected members’ behalf.
