Re: Audit of PBM Caremark Rejoinder

Dear Mr. Abramowitz:

CWA Local 1081 thanks Essex County Administrator Joyce Wilson Harley, Esq. for having forwarded you our Union’s attached letter of April 16, 2008, entitled “Audit of PBM Caremark”, as well as the constructive confirmation contained within your email message of today wherein you state “We have already begun looking into who would best do an audit of both Caremark and Horizon self-insured claims.”

Between the Administration’s available choices of utilizing its broker, Commerce Insurance Services, or an outside agency to conduct these audits, CWA Local 1081 believes it best an outside agency be appropriately designated to perform the tasks utilizing a fee structure based upon the amount of money recovered.

If CWA Local 1081 may be of any further assistance to the Administration, in this most critical consideration, please do not hesitate to contact our Union.

Sincerely,

David H. Weiner, President
