SUBJECT: CWA Local 1081 Scholarship Program
Our Union is proud to announce the recipients of the 2010 CWA Local 1081 Scholarship Program awards. Each of the following five recipients will receive $1,000 to be applied to the costs of their college education:
- Kalisha Dorlean, daughter of FSW Linda Dorlean.
- Edward Ernish, son of FSW Mary Ernish.
- Alex Govin, son of FSW Alex Govin, Sr.
- Daja Jones, daughter of FSW Sheryl Jordan Jones.
- Michele LeBeach, daughter of FSW Doreen Minto.
The applications were reviewed by the CWA Local 1081 Scholarship Program Committee consisting of FSW Charlene Morrison, Clerk Sandra Williamson, FSW Tatiana Horton, FSW Judy Favors and FSW Stewart Washington. The committee reviewed the applicants’ grades and an essay they were required to submit.
