TO: All CWA Local 1081 Members

SUBJECT: United Labor Agency
These are, to say the least, very difficult times.
Concerns about keeping one’s job and maintaining one’s salary, health benefits and other job benefits, such as those now contractually enjoyed by the members of CWA Local 1081, can understandably place a great amount of stress upon even the strongest amongst us.
In recognition as well of the significant number of newly-hired and relatively newly-hired employees of the Essex County Division of Welfare who are members of CWA Local 1081, our Union takes this opportunity to announce anew the existence of the United Labor Agency (ULA).
The ULA provides counseling on such matters as alcohol and other drug problems, mental health issues, etc.
CWA Local 1081 has for many years maintained a contract with the ULA on behalf of our members and their immediate family members. I have served on the board of trustees of the ULA for a number of years, as well, representing our Union.
Therefore, any member of CWA Local 1081 wishing to avail themselves of the services of the ULA, free of charge, need only contact me by either telephoning at (973) 623-1081 or via e-mail at cwa1081@aol.com.
Members need not divulge their reason(s) for seeking the services of the ULA and all referrals will be kept strictly confidential.
