Dear Ms. Davis:
CWA Local 1081 respectfully requests you meet with our Union to discuss our members whom have been working within the Essex County Division of Welfare with the title Data Processing Technician.
As you are aware, designated by the New Jersey Department of Personnel (DOP) as Data Processing Technician Job Specification 04866, this appears a title within our agency with our adversely affected members precluded from seeking promotional opportunities within the Clerical title series
Our Union’s goal is to ensure our Data Processing Technician-titled members are assigned a title with which they will no longer be precluded from advancing within the Clerical title series.
